Come & join me for a relaxed, hand-building pottery workshop at The Daily Goods, where you’ll create your own beautiful unique mug, while enjoying a non-alcoholic drink on arrival and delicious snacks from the talented owner of The Daily Goods, Holly Jansen.
In this workshop, Bex will begin with a demonstration of how to make a mug using basic pottery hand-building slab techniques. You’ll then go through the process with her support, creating a mug designed and decorated by you.
Bex will (carefully) take your creation home. She will bisque fire it, glaze it in your choice of white, clear, black or rose pink, then do a final firing. Your mug will be ready approximately 3 weeks later for collection from The Daily Goods in Pukekohe or by alternative arrangement.
No need to bring anything but yourself to the event – all materials, aprons, and ideas (if you want them) are provided.
Suitable for ages 12+
No skills required; everything is provided, from the template to plenty of encouragement!
Includes all materials, clay, tools, glazes & firing
