Warm up your winter with a cosy, creative escape as you hand‑build your own unique mug in this relaxed pottery workshop with Bex from R Ceramics, in collaboration with Your Local Coffee Roasters
In this 2.5hr creative pottery workshop, Bex will begin with a brief demonstration of how to make a mug using basic pottery hand-building slab techniques. You’ll then go through the process with her support, creating a mug designed and decorated by you.
Bex will (carefully) take your creation home. She will bisque-fire it, glaze it in your choice of white, clear, pink or black, then do a final firing. Your mug will be ready approx. 3 weeks later for collection from Your Local Brew Bar.
A delicious Your Local coffee/hot drink & sweet treat will be provided for you as you create.
No need to bring anything but yourself on the day – all materials, aprons, and ideas (if you want them) are provided.
Suitable for beginners & ages 10+
No skills required; everything is provided, from the template to plenty of encouragement!
Includes all materials, clay, tools, glazes, firing & tutoring
Please note that spaces are limited. No refunds are available if you are no longer able to attend (however, your ticket can be transferred for someone else to come in your place). A minimum number of 8 people are required for the workshop to take place. In the unfortunate event that the event has to be cancelled, then you will be refunded fully.
