Relax, enjoy, and create your own unique decorative vase with Bex from R Ceramics.
In this workshop held at Lynda Hallinan's exquisite Sweetgum Cottage & Garden, you will learn how to create a vase using basic pottery hand-building pinch techniques.
Bex will (carefully) take your creation home. She will bisque-fire it, glaze it in your choice of white, rose pink, clear or black, then do a final firing. Your vase will be ready 3-4 weeks later for collection from Bex’s home studio in Hunua or by alternative arrangement.
No need to bring anything but yourself on the day – all materials and an apron is provided.
Suitable for beginners & ages 12+

The workshop starts at 2.00pm but you're welcome to arrive a little earlier to enjoy a tiki tour of the amazing Sweetgum Cottage Garden.
Please note that spaces are limited. No refunds are available if you are no longer able to attend (however, your ticket can be transferred for someone else to come in your place). A minimum number of 8 people are required for the workshop to take place. In the unfortunate event that the event has to be cancelled, then you will be refunded fully.

'Cookies & Clay' - Kids School Holiday Pottery Workshop
Please note : Tickets are to be purchased for a child only (8-14yrs) & a parent/caregiver MUST be able to stay on-site at the Your Local Coffee Roasters (Brew Bar Cafe) for the duration of the workshop.

A hands-on pottery workshop for little people (8-14yrs), where they can craft their own keepsake clay dish/bowl while enjoying a cup of fluffy or hot chocolate & a cookie.
In this 1.5hr creative pottery workshop, Bex will begin with a brief demonstration of how to make a clay dish using basic pottery hand-building slab technique. The child will then go through the process with her support, creating their very own dish/bowl.
Bex will take the creation home. She will bisque-fire it, glaze it in a choice of white, clear or pink, then do a final firing. The keepsake piece will be ready approx. 3 weeks later for collection from Your Local Coffee Roasters Brew Bar.
For ages 8-14yrs.
No skills required; everything is provided (aprons included).
