Where: Little Batch Wax Co,

Relax, enjoy, and create your own unique decorative mug with Bex from R Ceramics. Treat your Mum (or yourself) and enjoy a creative evening out.
In this workshop held at the beautiful Little Batch Wax Co. Studio in Pukekohe, Bex will begin with a demonstration of how to make a mug using basic pottery hand-building slab techniques. You’ll then go through the process with her support, creating a mug designed and decorated by you. Bex will (carefully) take your creation home. She will bisque-fire it, glaze it in your choice of white, clear, black or rose pink, then do a final firing. Your mug will be ready approximately 3 weeks later for collection from either Bex's Hunua home studio, or the Little Batch Wax Co. Studio in Pukekohe or by alternative arrangement.
No need to bring anything but yourself on the day – all materials, aprons, and ideas (if you want them) are provided.
- Suitable for ages 10+
- No skills required; everything is provided, from the template to plenty of encouragement!
- Includes all materials, clay, tools, glazes, firing & tutoring
- Light refreshments provided
- 10% off any Little Batch Wax Co. products
Please note that spaces are limited. No refunds are available if you are no longer able to attend (however, your ticket can be transferred for someone else to come in your place). A minimum number of 8 people are required for the workshop to take place. In the unfortunate event that the event has to be cancelled, then you will be refunded fully.
